The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Dallas Chamber Symphony, whose members share fiduciary responsibility for the organization, while overseeing the artistic, fiscal and administrative operations.
The members of the Board are typically community service oriented business leaders and professionals who reasonably represent the diverse needs and interests of the North Texas community served by the DCS and its programs, such as Subscription Concerts, TechNotes Music Education, the Dallas International Piano Competition, Sight of Sound, and various outreach and touring initiatives.
Board Members need not be active in the day to day operations of the Dallas Chamber Symphony, however they often collaborate closely with management and staff at regular meetings, concerts and social gatherings.
